The Makings of an Alternative System through our Response to COVID-19

About

The project will enable the RSA to continue and deepen two enquiries and scale their impact.

The first enquiry will continue exploring ‘the makings of an alternative system through our response to COVID-19’ with a group of 30 representatives from social change organisations across the UK. Since March 2020 they have hosted three sessions (in collaboration with TNLCF) to collectively explore what’s changing and what’s possible. They would convene a further 5 monthly workshops.

The second enquiry will develop the RSA’s Future Change Framework, launched on 29th June. This guide invites people to have conversations in their communities to map what has changed in response to COVID-19, and to think through next steps.  Funding would allow them to iterate the prototype based on feedback and build a new learning community of people who are using the framework. They would host up to 3 storytelling community calls for the FCF learning community to develop and share local narratives from the engagement they are undertaking and share a collective story harvest.
